Cult Nails Love At First Sight And Nail Art

It's been sunny and gorgeous here in California for most of the past few weeks. So when I got my Cult Nails order (unfortunately my last, since they are going out of business) I was drawn to the brightest, most cheery color that I had ordered. That color was Love At First Sight...

It's such a beautiful color and I probably could have gotten away with one coat but I decided to do two just because. Then I decided to do an accent nail with a color I came across while doing swatch sticks: Sephora by OPI Sparkling Personality. Then I figured...what the hell? Let's add some rhinestones! And this is what I ended up with.

I'm kind of in love with it! I pretty much suck at nail art and being creative so accent nails are about as fancy as I usually get. But even though they are simple I think they look great. And throw in some rhinestones and you can't really go wrong.

Feelin' Froggy With Cult Nails

Hello again! I'm back with my second St. Patrick's Day mani. This time I used the perfect green for the holiday; Feelin' Froggy by Cult Nails.

This was from the Fairy Tale collection and is a really pretty green with amazing blue shimmer running throughout.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like this polish is available anymore. But you can get any of the other amazing Cult Nails polishes here.

My First Fall Mani

Hi guys! Happy Autumn! I am sooooo glad we are out of the horrid season called Summer and into my absolute favorite time of the year. It was such a hot, sticky, humid, horrible few months; I am not a hot weather kind of girl at all. So I was so happy when the weather started turning and getting cooler. I had been dreaming about the dark, vampy colors of Fall and couldn't wait to get some on my nails.

As soon as it got cooler I busted out a polish that for some reason I have never used. This first dark color to debut on my nails was In A Trance from Cult Nails. It was originally in the Hypnotic Collection from Fall of 2011.

In A Trance is a gorgeous olive green with amazing gold shimmer running throughout. I could not stop staring at my nails. And, as is usual for Cult Nails, the formula was perfect. Two smooth, easy coats was all it took.

In A Trance is still available on the Cult Nails website here for $12 and Maria often runs sales and discounts. She has had so many amazing collections come out that I and my wallet haven't been able to keep up but if I ever win the lottery I am buying every single one of her polishes.
