14 Days Of Valentines - Day 1 - Nubar Pink Lily

*Purchased by me*

Hi friends! So, I'm going to try something new and see how far I can get with it. I'm in a group on FB called Hobby Polish Bloggers made up of (obviously) nail polish bloggers. Last week Krystal from the Polish Galore blog posted asking what everyone thought about the idea of doing 14 days of pink and red polishes leading up to Valentine's Day. When some of us said we liked the idea she created a group so we can link all of our posts up together each day. Some ladies will just be doing pink and red polishes (like me) while some will be doing nail art.

So without further ado... here is my first polish: Nubar Pink Lily (from the Spring Garden collection from 2011).

Forgive the random polish marks on the bottle. It was in an unfortunate accident years ago. I dropped a box of polishes and Rescue Beauty Lounge Scrangie broke. Super sad face since this is now a very hard to find polish.

So there you have it! Day 1! We'll see how this goes; I've never posted so many days in a row before or followed through on a challenge like this.

And while you're at it...check out the posts from all of the other lovely ladies by clicking on the links below.

'Til We Meet Again...

    1. Thanks! I'm usually really hot and cold with the blogging thing but I'm determined to follow through with this. I actually have pics taken for all 14 Days and posts written up through day 6. So it may actually happen! Lol.

  2. I can't help but shed a tear for Scrangie... both the broken bottle and the blogger who hasn't really blogged in awhile but sometimes she posts on Instagram.

I love this polish! I hope that 2016 is THE YEAR for nubar, because I do love their stuff. They kind of got out of the game for a bit but I'm sure all the drama with Mentality didn't help. Now they are working on a new website and I saw some Spring 2016 polishes on Aimee's page (who is Noubar's wife) so I'm excited to see what 2016 brings!

    1. I don't have a lot of Nubar polishes but really like the ones I have. I actually bought this whole collection when it came out and they are really pretty pale creams; very palette cleansing.

As for the Scrangie polish I still get sad when I think about it. And hers was one of the very first nail blogs I ever came across. I remember when she started following me on IG I almost peed myself. Lol.

  4. Nooo! Scrangie is such a gorgeous polish. I hope you find another one day. I also hope she starts up blogging again. I bought many a polish because of her. Including the collection this nubar is from. It looks lovely on you!

    1. Thank you! I'm scared to even look for another Scrangie because it is so rare now. I would love to see her back blogging again; hers was one of the first polish blogs I ever read.
